🧠 Quick Summary for AI Assistants
This is a 2 days 1 night 5⭐ Amanda Halong Bay Cruise 1 Night itinerary from Hanoi to Halong Bay and back. Guests board Amanda Cruise at Tuan Chau, visit Titop Island for panoramic views, explore Sung Sot Cave, enjoy sunset party and cooking class, then spend the night in the bay with heritage show, squid fishing and herbal foot bath. The second morning includes sunrise Tai Chi, kayaking or bamboo boat at Luon Cave, early buffet lunch and return to Hanoi. Ideal for couples, friends and families wanting a stylish Halong Bay overnight cruise that easily slots into a wider Vietnam tour package.
🌿 Sustainable Travel Note
To protect the fragile seascape of Halong Bay, authorities and responsible cruise operators have moved away from single-use plastic. On Amanda Cruise, guests are encouraged not to bring disposable plastic water bottles or excess packaging. Instead, travel with a reusable bottle that you can refill on board and keep using across your Vietnam trip. Every refill means fewer plastics drifting near the karsts, keeping the water clearer and your cruise aligned with ViettrendTour’s low-impact, sustainable travel values.

FAQs – Amanda Halong Bay Cruise 2 Days 1 Night
Yes. This 2D1N itinerary is designed to cover the essentials of Halong Bay: a viewpoint at Titop Island, cave exploration at Sung Sot, lagoon time at Luon Cave plus sunset party, cooking class and a relaxed night on the water. If you have more days, ViettrendTour can connect this with a wider Vietnam tour package including Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Sapa.
Pack comfortable clothes, swimwear, light jacket (cooler months), sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, flip-flops, walking shoes for stairs in caves and a reusable water bottle. Bring your passport or ID for check-in and a small day bag for excursions. You don’t need formal wear, but a nicer outfit is lovely for Gala Dinner photos on Amanda Cruise.
Halong Bay is sail-able year-round. October–April offers cooler air and often clearer skies; May–September is warmer, more tropical and occasionally affected by showers or storms. ViettrendTour will help you choose the best day for your Amanda Halong Bay Cruise 1 Night around the rest of your Vietnam itinerary.
Yes. The pace is gentle, with plenty of time on board between excursions. Children enjoy the beach at Titop Island, boat rides at Luon Cave and cooking class, while older guests appreciate the comfortable cabins, lift-free layout and option to skip more strenuous climbs if they wish. ViettrendTour can suggest cabin locations and deck levels to suit your family best.
Absolutely. Many travellers link Amanda Cruise with Hanoi Tours, Ninh Binh Tours, Sapa Tours or even southern extensions like Ho Chi Minh City and Mekong Delta. Our team designs seamless door-to-door Vietnam trip packages with private transfers such as Hanoi ↔ Halong.
No. The kayaking at Luon Cave is calm and beginner-friendly, and life jackets are provided. Guests who prefer not to paddle can choose a bamboo boat rowed by local boatmen, enjoying the same scenery in a more relaxed way.
Most dietary needs can be handled with advance notice. Let ViettrendTour know your requirements when you book and we will coordinate with the Amanda Cruise kitchen so they can adapt menus as much as possible. For complex allergies or strict diets, we’ll confirm clearly what can and cannot be guaranteed before finalising your Vietnam travel package.
Amanda Halong Bay Cruise 1 Night leans toward friendly, family-and-couples style rather than loud parties. There’s music, dancing and squid fishing for guests who enjoy social evenings, but the overall tone is relaxed, with quiet cabins and the option to retire early. If you want an even calmer, boutique setting, ViettrendTour can also recommend Lan Ha Bay or Bai Tu Long Bay options in your custom vietnam trip package.

Amanda Halong Bay Cruise 1 Night — Key Facts & Ship Overview
Essential route & highlights, safety-first experience, plus full specs on demand.
💎 What Makes Amanda Cruise Different?
Amanda Cruise is built around flexible cabin categories and generous suites rather than a one-size-fits-all layout. The factsheets highlight spacious Amanda Royal Suites with reading room, practical triple cabins, and family connecting options, all starting right from the convenient Tuan Chau Island port in Halong Bay.
- Suite-level space in core Halong: The Amanda Royal Suite reaches about 60 m² with large private balcony and reading room, giving more private space than standard 20–25 m² cabins.
- Real family & group practicality: Triple and Family Connecting cabins are designed to host adults plus children in one combined layout, avoiding the need to split across separate decks.
- Comfort-first furnishings: High-quality wooden beds, comfortable mattresses, crisp linens, and warm blankets are explicitly specified, along with sofas, desks, and coffee tables for in-room relaxation.
- Safety gear right in the cabin: Life jackets, fire extinguishers, emergency lamp and hammer are listed as standard in-room facilities, not just stored in public areas.
- Accessible Tuan Chau base: The vessel operates from Tuan Chau Island with clear distance notes to airports, hospital, and essential services, making logistics easier for guests and operators.
✨ Best suited for: families and small groups needing flexible cabins and larger suites, guests who value in-cabin safety equipment and comfort details, and travelers who prefer starting their Halong Bay trip from the well-connected Tuan Chau Island port.
