🏞️ Discover Ha Giang with ViettrendTour: A Journey Led by Local Guide Linh
In the far north of Vietnam, where limestone peaks pierce the clouds and ancient cultures remain untouched by time, lies Ha Giang — a destination that captures hearts and never lets go. More than a place, it’s a story waiting to unfold.
This is that story, as lived and told by Linh, one of ViettrendTour’s most beloved guides

🛣️ Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang City – Quan Ba
“We left Hanoi at 6:30 AM,” Linh recalls. “Our group of six, curious and wide-eyed, held coffee cups and cameras tightly. I told them: ‘Ha Giang isn’t just a tour — it’s a transformation.’”
By afternoon, the group reached Ha Giang City and climbed toward Quan Ba, ascending winding roads that opened to Heaven’s Gate Pass. The moment the Twin Mountains came into view, the van fell silent.
🌄 That night, the group shared rice wine and laughter at a cozy family-run homestay, lit by firelight and filled with warmth.

🏔️ Day 2: Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van
The journey moved deeper into Ha Giang’s heart. In Lung Tam village, the group met Hmong artisans dyeing hemp with natural indigo. They sat weaving side-by-side, captivated by the craftsmanship.
🍽️ Lunch in Yen Minh was humble: grilled pork, sticky rice, and wild greens — all with an unforgettable mountain view.
By late afternoon, they passed Tham Ma Pass, where children waved from cliffside homes. Before sunset, the group arrived in Dong Van Old Quarter, its ancient stone homes bathed in golden light.
🫖 Over tea, Linh shared stories of border wars, cultural resilience, and the enduring spirit of the northern highlands.

🚴♀️ Day 3: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng – Meo Vac
At 7:00 AM, the group departed for the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass. “We caught the morning mist,” Linh says. Consequently, no one spoke — they just breathed it in.
🚣♂️ Later, they cruised the Nho Que River, a jade ribbon slicing between steep cliffs — sacred to the Tay and Hmong.

In the afternoon, they visited the vibrant Meo Vac Market, alive with color, song, and the scent of smoked buffalo meat.
🌌 That night, they stayed in a remote mountain ecolodge, surrounded by stillness and stars.

🌾 Day 4: Meo Vac – Du Gia
The land softened as the group made their way to Du Gia.
🌊 They swam in waterfalls with local children, shared a meal with Tay villagers, and relaxed in hammocks overlooking terraced rice paddies.
🌕 As the moon rose, Linh remembers: “No one spoke. They just… felt.”

🚗 Day 5: Du Gia – Ha Giang – Hanoi
The journey back was quiet. From the windows of the limousine van, the group took in the final views of Ha Giang’s landscape — now etched in their hearts.
At 7:30 PM, they arrived in Hanoi.
🤗 “They hugged me and said, ‘Linh, this was the most human journey we’ve ever taken.’”
