Where the official contract does not specify an exact supplement line, VTT applies a working rule: extra bed / 3rd adult is charged at approximately 45% of the cabin’s double/twin rate per night, calculated on the exact departure date and cabin type.
- Extra beds are subject to cabin layout and maximum occupancy per cabin.
- Children using an extra bed follow the standard children-policy percentages on the calculated adult rate.
- Final charges are always confirmed on your written confirmation from the Cruise Operator & VTT.
🚐 Shared Limousine Transfers (Hanoi ⇄ Tuan Chau)
- Route: Hanoi – Tuan Chau – Hanoi via highway.
- Daily shared limousine service, pick-up in Hanoi Old Quarter between ~08:00–08:45; drop-off in Hanoi around 14:30–15:00 (subject to traffic).
- Pick-up & drop-off: hotels in/near Hanoi Old Quarter; for hotels outside, the standard meeting point is the Hanoi Opera House (No.1 Trang Tien).
- Children under 3 years: free of charge on limousine when sharing seat with parents; limited to 01 child per booking.
- Operation may be adjusted for road conditions, public holidays, or authority instructions; exact times are reconfirmed in your pre-departure notice.

📄 Booking, Passenger Details & Check-in
- Booking & confirmation: Reservations are confirmed in writing by email. Payments are made after confirmation, normally by bank transfer to the Operator’s account as stated on the invoice.
- Passenger manifest: Advance registration is required with full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number and visa expiry date for all passengers.
- Check-in port: Rosy Waiting Lounge, Tuan Chau Marina, Halong Bay, Quang Ninh, Vietnam.
- Check-in & embarkation: Guests not using shuttle transfers should be present at Rosy Cruise’s waiting area at Tuan Chau International Marina around 11:30–11:45 for check-in and tender transfer to the boat.
- Check-out: Cabin check-out is usually around 09:15–09:30; disembarkation by tender back to Tuan Chau Marina at approximately 11:45 (timing may vary slightly by day and authority control).
Exact timings for your departure date will be clearly indicated on the final service voucher issued by VTT.
🎄 Holiday Surcharge (Festive Dinners)
On selected public holidays, Rosy Cruise applies a compulsory festive dinner surcharge per person:
- Christmas (24 Dec) & New Year (31 Dec) — Adults & children ≥12 yrs: 1,080,000 VND (≈ $42) per guest; Children under 12 yrs: 540,000 VND (≈ $21) per guest.
- Lunar New Year (from 30 Dec to 03 Jan, lunar calendar) — Adults & children ≥12 yrs: 1,080,000 VND (≈ $42) per guest; Children under 12 yrs: 540,000 VND (≈ $21) per guest.

Any changes or modifications to an existing booking are considered a cancellation and a new reservation must be made. Fees apply according to the official Rosy Cruise cancellation table below (by number of rooms and days before departure):

Percentage (%) is applied to the total booking value for the cancelled rooms. Any rebooking is treated as a new reservation.
⛈ Weather & Authority Changes
Rosy Cruise reserves the right to cancel or modify the itinerary in unavoidable circumstances such as bad weather, wars, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism, or orders from local authorities.
- If the cruise is cancelled before the departure date, guests are informed by phone/email as soon as possible, and a full refund is made with a proposal for alternative services of equivalent or similar standard when available.
- If cancellation occurs on the departure date at Tuan Chau Wharf, Rosy Cruise arranges lunch on board or at the waiting lounge and provides return transport to Hanoi. Costs are minimized in favour of guests according to the operator’s published service prices.
- Daily itinerary and activities (swimming, kayaking, bamboo boat, etc.) may be adjusted or cancelled depending on tide levels, safety conditions and Harbour Authority decisions.
Any refunds or compensation follow the Operator’s official rules in force on the day of travel.
