Farewell Line
As Grand Pioneers I turns gently back toward Tuan Chau, you step ashore carrying the glow of sunsets, cave silhouettes and easy mornings on deck — a Legacy chapter that fits beautifully inside any tailor-made Vietnam vacation package.
Your Legacy Journey begins with a cool welcome drink, a soft hum of engines and the first limestone pillars of Halong Bay sliding into view.
✨ What You’ll Experience
You arrive at the private Grand Pioneers lounge on Tuan Chau, hand over your luggage and step seamlessly onto Grand Pioneers I, greeted by a smile and a glass that already tastes like holiday. As the ship glides away from the pier, the busy harbor falls behind and the karst skyline of Halong Bay unfolds in front of the restaurant windows while you enjoy your first leisurely lunch. The afternoon takes you further into the calm of Bai Tu Long Bay, where a tender brings you ashore to climb into Thien Canh Son Cave, its chambers lit like an underground gallery. Afterwards you slip into a kayak, tracing the base of cliffs and, when conditions allow, landing on a small beach to feel the sand between your toes. By sunset, Grand Pioneers I is anchored at Cap La, a natural amphitheater of sea and sky, where canapés, soft music and the glow of the pool create the perfect first evening.

As the coastline changes, you pass the sentinel-like outline of Xuong Rong Island, marking the far reach of the heritage zone, before arriving at Da Xep Nature Park, where ancient rock formations and green slopes frame the bay. Depending on tides, you may walk along a strip of white sand between sea and mountains or explore the rocky landscape and viewpoints. After lunch on board, the pace softens again at Vung Vieng Fishing Village, where small boats, floating houses and gentle smiles reveal another layer of life on the bay. Late afternoon brings scenic cruising past characteristic rocks and cave areas as the crew prepares a special Legacy dinner, leaving the stars and soft ship lights to finish the story.

On your last day, the light over Halong Bay feels softer, as if the landscape knows you are about to say goodbye. After breakfast, you choose your perfect finale: descend into the vast halls of Sung Sot Cave, where stalactites and stalagmites form dramatic shapes, or sail to Titop Island, whose short but steep steps reward you with a sweeping view across the bay and the chance for a refreshing swim. Back on Grand Pioneers I, you pack at an easy pace, settle any final bills and enjoy an early lunch as the ship draws a gentle line back to Tuan Chau. Grand Pioneers I is presented as a modern, resort-style cruise ship on Ha Long Bay, combining a large-capacity steel vessel with an extensive line-up of suites, restaurants and leisure facilities. Instead of focusing only on sightseeing, the ship functions as a floating entertainment and relaxation complex with spaces for families, couples and groups.
- Resort-scale specifications: 160-guest capacity, 55 suites and 7 guest decks on a 109.99m ship, giving a feel closer to an ocean-style vessel than a small boutique boat.

- Entertainment for all ages: Dedicated Kids Club, Family Entertainment Room, 3D Golf & Billiards, Poker Room and Karaoke Rooms make down time on board as engaging as time on the bay.
- Multiple F&B venues: Two main restaurants, a sky bar, pool bar and a wine & cigar lounge spread across different decks for varied atmospheres from casual to premium.
- Wellness & relaxation focus: Large four-season saltwater pool plus Sea Spa with treatment rooms, sauna and steam allow for spa-style relaxation between excursions.
✨ Best suited for: guests who value a modern Ha Long Bay cruise with ample onboard facilities & entertainment — from couples and groups to families seeking a “floating resort” experience with spa, pool, kids’ areas and multiple bars and lounges.
