- Extra bed for third adult in a cabin is compulsory and charged at 45% of the 2-pax cabin rate per person per night.
- Children above 11 years old are considered adults and require an extra bed with the same surcharge rule when staying as a third person.
- Maximum 2 children are allowed per cabin in total, including children sharing existing beds.
- Baby cots for children under 2 years are provided free of charge on request, subject to availability.
🚐 Shared Limousine Transfers (Hanoi ⇄ Halong)
- Shared limousine car service is available between Hanoi and Halong for both round-trip and one-way journeys.
- This transfer is an optional service for travel agents and guests and is booked together with the cruise based on availability.
- Pick-up and drop-off are coordinated by the cruise’s Hanoi office; exact times and hotel list are confirmed in the Travel Voucher.

- Check-in time for cabins is scheduled at 12:00; guests typically arrive at Catherine Cruise’s Lounge in Tuan Chau marina around late morning for welcome drink and briefing before boarding.
- Check-out time is 09:30; a brunch is served at the onboard restaurant before guests disembark around 10:30 at Tuan Chau marina.
- Early check-out on guest request may incur a surcharge according to the cruise’s regulations.
- Final confirmation, cabin assignment and boarding details are issued once deposit/payment terms under the contract are met; passenger names and details must follow Vietnamese regulations for Halong Bay overnight cruises.

🌦️ Weather / Authority Changes & Force Majeure
Force majeure
Neither party is responsible for failure to execute obligations when directly or indirectly caused by war, pandemic, change of government regulations, strikes, riots, acts of God or conditions beyond control. If the cruise cancels your booking for these reasons, you may receive a refund or accept an equivalent alternative service; if the alternative has a lower cost, the difference will be refunded.
Cancellation due to weather conditions
- Guest not arrived Tuan Chau Port yet: Full refund will be made.
- Guest uses lunch and day trip only: Charge applies at VND 3,300,000/khách (pax) (≈ $127).
Any further proration (for example when a 3D2N program is shortened to 2D1N by authority order) will follow the cruise’s internal calculation sheet and be communicated at the time of change.
