Bring light, breathable clothing, a swimsuit, flip-flops or water-friendly sandals, a light jacket for breezy evenings, sun hat, sunglasses, reef-safe sunscreen and insect repellent. Don’t forget a reusable water bottle (single-use plastic is discouraged), plus any personal medication and a small day bag for cave and beach excursions.
Halong Bay is sail-able year-round. October–April usually offers cooler, drier weather and clear views, while May–September can be warmer with more dramatic skies and occasional short showers. We monitor conditions carefully and adjust timing for your safety, in line with official Halong Bay regulations.
A kayak or bamboo boat trip at Luon Cave is typically included in the Amanda Halong Bay Cruise 3 Days 2 Nights package. Occasionally, local management may adjust the activity for safety reasons; in that case, a similar replacement such as another cave or floating village visit is arranged.
Yes. Amanda Cruise offers triple cabins and family connecting cabins, making it one of the more family-friendly choices among premium cruises in Halong Bay. Children love the beach time at Ba Trai Dao and the squid fishing at night. Always supervise little ones on deck and during water activities.
The 2D1N program covers the main icons—Titop Island and Sung Sot Cave—before returning to Hanoi. The 3D2N version adds a full extra day deep in the bay with Trinh Nu Cave, Ba Trai Dao Beach and the Pearl Farm, giving more time to relax and enjoy the scenery. For most travellers, the 3D2N is the “sweet spot” and one of the best Halong Bay cruise 2 nights options.

Amanda Halong Bay Cruise 2 Nights — Key Facts & Ship Overview
Essential route & highlights, safety-first experience, plus full specs on demand.
💎 What Makes Amanda Cruise Different?
Amanda Cruise is built around flexible cabin categories and generous suites rather than a one-size-fits-all layout. The factsheets highlight spacious Amanda Royal Suites with reading room, practical triple cabins, and family connecting options, all starting right from the convenient Tuan Chau Island port in Halong Bay.
- Suite-level space in core Halong: The Amanda Royal Suite reaches about 60 m² with large private balcony and reading room, giving more private space than standard 20–25 m² cabins.
- Real family & group practicality: Triple and Family Connecting cabins are designed to host adults plus children in one combined layout, avoiding the need to split across separate decks.
- Comfort-first furnishings: High-quality wooden beds, comfortable mattresses, crisp linens, and warm blankets are explicitly specified, along with sofas, desks, and coffee tables for in-room relaxation.
- Safety gear right in the cabin: Life jackets, fire extinguishers, emergency lamp and hammer are listed as standard in-room facilities, not just stored in public areas.
- Accessible Tuan Chau base: The vessel operates from Tuan Chau Island with clear distance notes to airports, hospital, and essential services, making logistics easier for guests and operators.
✨ Best suited for: families and small groups needing flexible cabins and larger suites, guests who value in-cabin safety equipment and comfort details, and travelers who prefer starting their Halong Bay trip from the well-connected Tuan Chau Island port.
