This is one of Vietnam’s most authentic markets, where you’ll encounter an array of ethnic groups, including the Flower H’mong, Red H’mong, Tay, and Nung peoples. The market is a true cultural melting pot, where locals come to buy and sell everything from fresh produce to livestock, along with handmade crafts and textiles.

Late Morning: Trek to Ban Pho Village
11:00 AM: After soaking in the sights and sounds of the market, take a short trek to Ban Pho Village, a remote settlement of the Flower H’mong people. Here, you’ll gain insight into their daily life, visit traditional homes, and learn about their customs. Don’t forget to try the local corn wine, made by the villagers, which is a specialty of the region.
